Old-fashioned sour cream glazed donuts




To make this easy muffin recipe, I've added everything you'll need below:

+For pancakes you will need:

°250 grams of cake flour.

° 1½ t of baking powder.

° 1 t salt.

°Half a teaspoon of ground nutmeg.

°100 grams of sugar.

° 30 g soft butter.

°2 egg yolks.

° 115 g of sour cream.

° Canola oil for fry.

+ For the glass, I used:

°350 grams of sifted powdered sugar.

°1 1/2 teaspoons corn syrup.

°1/4 teaspoon salt.

°Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

°1/3 cup hot water.

*How to make cake:

Step 1:

Sift the cake flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg into a mixing bowl.

Step 2:

Combine the butter and sugar in the bowl of a vertical mixer with the paddle attachment and beat until sandy.

Step 3:

Then I mixed the egg yolk until it was light and thick.

The fourth step:

In three additions, I added the dry ingredients to a mixing bowl, alternating with sour cream and finishing with flour.

Fifth step:

When the dough got dirty, I refrigerated it for an hour after wrapping it in plastic wrap.

Sixth step:

Next, I rolled the dough out to about 1/2 inch on a floured sheet.

Seventh step:

To making as many cupcakes as possible, I use  donut cutter or two different cookie cutters, dipping the cutters in flour as needed to keep them from sticking. 

NB:

You should be able to get about 12 donuts and a hole from this recipe.

Eighth step:

In a heavy-bottomed pot equipped with a frying pan, I added 2 inches of canola oil.

Step 9:

I fried the buns in batches, being careful not to overcook the pot, it took 2 minutes on each side.

Step 10:

I remove it from the oil also poured it to a paper bag to absorb the resr grease.

This is the glazing method:

Step 1:

In a mix bowl, whisk all ingredients together to smooth.

Step 2:

Using a pastry brush, I covered each donut with the glaze.

Step 3:

To pick up some extra glaze, I set a wire rack on top of a tray, and let it sit for 20 minutes to dry.
